On Thursday morning, when the Saudi expatriate Babul of Monir's Bepari house adjacent to Charmohana Government Primary School went to rob the house, the three people were arrested with native weapons. The accused robbers are - Montu, son of Matin of Charmohana village, Rahman, son of Abdur Rajab and Md. Ruhul Amin.
The villagers said that they were fed up with the incidents of theft, robbery and robbery in Charmohana Union one after the other for the last one month. Late on Wednesday night, a group of robbers attacked the house of Babul, a Saudi expatriate, in Monir's Bepari house adjacent to Charmohana Government Primary School. At one stage, the people of the house grabbed one of them and screamed, while the other robbers ran away. Later, the locals caught Montu by hand and according to his confession, the other two dacoits Rahman and Ruhul Amin were arrested and handed over to the police after being beaten up.
Raipur police station duty officer SI Sameer Chakraborty said that three robbers who were beaten up by the villagers were rescued from the hands of the villagers. Efforts are on to arrest others involved in the robbery.
