Sujan burnt the speech-impaired Lata to death due to pressure for marriage

Sujan Mia developed a love relationship with speech-impaired Lata Sarkar. At one point, Lata pressured him for marriage. The police gave this information after the arrest of the accused Sujan in the case of burning a young woman to death in Keraniganj, Dhaka. To give details in this regard, Dhaka District Police Superintendent Md. Asaduzzaman organized a press conference in his office. At that time, he said that Lata Sarkar's condition was critical from the beginning as 65 percent of his body was burnt. Because of this, the police recorded his statement with the help of the doctor on duty and a sign language expert. Along with this, the investigation team analyzed the various signs and CCTV footage of the incident. At one point it was possible to identify the accused involved in the murder. With the help of information technology, his location was confirmed and he was arrested from Tegachia Bazar of Kalapara Police Station in Patuakhali in the early hours of December 2. In the initial interrogation, he said that he met Lata only 8-10 days before the incident. On the afternoon of November 27, they had physical relations. After that Lata started pushing for marriage. Sujan asked him to wait at Gabtala in Kalatia area of Keraniganj with clothes and clothes at night. But he had different plans in mind. Accordingly, Sujan tried to kill him by taking him near the road bridge of Chunkutia soap factory area in Dakshin Keraniganj. At the end, thinking Lata dead, she sets fire to hide her identity. After getting the news that Lata was rescued alive, he switched off the mobile phone. That night he left his village home in Gosairhat of Shariatpur to Kodalpur. Later, his in-laws went to Kalapara in Patuakhali.
