The leaders and activists of the organization held a protest march in Laxmipur's Kamalnagar to protest the attack on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's political office in Dhanmondi by spreading rumors in the name of student movement.
Upazila Awami League organized this program at Upazila Sadar Hajihat on Monday afternoon.
Upazila Awami League President AKM Nurul Amin Master, Senior Vice President Md. Nizam Uddin, Awami League leader Aktar Hossain Milon, Faisal Ahmad Ratan, Chairman Abul Khair, Upazila Women Awami League President Sajeda Akter Sumi, Office Secretary Mohammad Ullah, Upazila Krishak League President Harunur Rashid, Upazila Jubo League Convener Mejbah Uddin Bappi, Joint Convenor AHM Ahsan Ullah Hiran and Yashir Arafat Raju, Chhatra League President Main Uddin along with leaders and activists of various levels of Awami League and its affiliated organizations participated.
The protest procession came out from the front of the Upazila Awami League party office and went around the main road of Hajihat Bazar.
