In the August 21 grenade attack case discussed by Rahul, the court sentenced 17 people including BNP senior vice chairman Tarek Rahman to life and 19 accused including former state minister for home Lutfuzzaman Babar.
Judge Shahed Nooruddin of Dhaka Speedy Trial Tribunal No. 1 established at Nazimuddin Road in Old Dhaka announced the verdict at around 11:30 on Wednesday.
