Top 5 Startups in the GP Accelerator Program

The top five startups in the second batch of the GP Accelerator Program - BuzzAlley, Social, Cramstake, Ghuri and Simed. SD Asia and Grameenphone jointly carried out the responsibility of finding the most promising startups among the smartups participating in the second batch.

The selected project entrepreneurs received Tk 1.1 million and office space at Grameenphone's head office 'GP House' to implement their projects. They presented their projects at the GP Accelerate Program Demo Day held at Grameenphone's head office on Sunday.

Among the top five projects
Kramstek:  A data analytics platform that extracts complex data from large organizations through analytics pipelines and models. Cramstech is working as a search-driven data analytical platform using business intelligence. So even those who know very little about tech can analyze data using Cramstech.

In addition, the main goal of Cramstake is to make it easy for anyone, even without technical experience, to analyze business data. Cramstake is able to solve the data analysis process that would take hours in just a few seconds.

Social:  Social Media Analytics. This analytics platform can capture what is being discussed about a brand on social media. Sosian has differentiated itself from other startups by adding 'Bangla language data analysis' to its platform. The Sosian platform is capable of supporting 81 languages.

While others have been supporting only English, Sosian is currently more interested in working with Bengali and some other South Asian languages.
C-Med:  C-Med provides cloud-based medical services at very low cost. This easy-to-use medium can ensure low-cost healthcare for the people of Bangladesh. This startup is working to control non-communicable diseases.

Bajali:  It has been providing mobile marketing services. Missed call marketing is BuzzAlley's first product. BuzzAlley's system will find target customers for various businesses through various analytics. The startup is working to meet some other goals.

Kite: Khuri is offering one-stop travel solutions, starting from hotels and tour packages. The startup is suggesting the best package for customers through a chat-bot on its site. Khuri is now trying to improve marketing and client service to increase sales. It is also working in collaboration with various travel agents, tour operators and various types of hotels.

The young entrepreneurs presented these excellent ideas to the invited guests, including local and foreign investors, professionals, senior officials from Grameenphone and SD Asia.
