According to the Meteorological Department, this rain may continue for another day or two. If the rain goes away, the winter can set in.
The low-income people including the students who came to take the admission test of Chittagong University suffered due to the rain. Due to the rain, some roads in the city turned into mud.
Syeda Mimi Parveen, official of Patenga Meteorological Office, said that 6.4 millimeters of rain has been recorded in the last 24 hours till 3 pm on Monday. The maximum temperature recorded was 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 29 degrees Celsius.
