Quota reservation movement leader Rashed Khan arrested

Police have arrested Rashed Khan, leader of the quota reservation movement and joint convener of the Bangladesh General Student Rights Protection Council.
He was arrested from Bhashantek area of Mirpur-14 this afternoon.
Rashed Khan has been arrested in a case under the ICT Act, said Deputy Commissioner-DC Masudur Rahman, Media and Public Relations Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Hasan Al Mamun, convener of the Bangladesh General Students' Rights Protection Council, said that the DB police picked up Rashed Khan and three others from house number 12 on Majumdar Road in Bhashantek Bazar area of Mirpur-14. The other two are Mahfuz Khan and Sumon Kabir. They are also joint conveners of the council.
