The founder of the public health center Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury said that it should be considered as a mandatory duty to remember Mohiuddin Ahmad, a diplomat of the liberation war, every year and teach his biography in school books.
He said this in a condolence message on Tuesday.
Dr. Zafrullah said, Mohiuddin Ahmad was a brave diplomat. He was the first Pakistani diplomat abroad who led the liberation movement of Bangladesh as the advisor and supporter of Justice Abu Saeed Chowdhury amid financial crisis, ignoring all the privileges of Pakistan. Lived a simple life, he did not own a car, he traveled by public bus from his residence in Uttara.

Dr. Mohiuddin Ahmed's death is an irreparable loss to the country. Zafrullah Chowdhury said, on behalf of London-based 'Voice for Global Bangladeshis' organization, Prof. Hasnat Hossain MBE and on behalf of the nation, I am appealing to the government to place a sculpture of his portrait in the Bangladesh Embassy premises in London and in the National Museum in Dhaka. Honoring him will honor the country. It will be helpful in writing the correct history of the liberation war.
He said that his writings and memories and qualities published in Bengali and English on various topics including economy, foreign policy, democracy, human rights, poverty, development will be forever bright in the history of our nation.
