6 gamblers arrested in Kamalnagar

Kamalnagar (Lakshmipur) Correspondent: Police have arrested six gamblers while they were gambling in the Taltali Batirghat area of Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur. They were arrested on Saturday (December 10) night.
The arrested are Abul Kalam (55), son of the late Syed Ahmed, a resident of Char Lawrence Union in the upazila, Abdul Mannan (50), son of Abdul Mannaf, Md. Khokon (30), son of Shafiq Ullah, Abu Zaher (28), son of Abdul Haque, Nur Karim (28), son of Abul Hossain, and Kamrul Islam (27), son of Shafiq Ullah.
Hazirhat Investigation Center Sub-Inspector (SI) Rezaul Karim Reza said that they were caught red-handed while gambling with cards during a raid based on a secret tip-off. They were sent to court on Sunday (today).
