An anti-militancy rally of 14 groups was held in Lakshmipur's Kamalnagar to protest against secret killings, terrorism, bombings and militant attacks across the country. Kamalnagar upazila 14 parties organized the rally. Upazila Awami League president AKM Nurul Amin Master presided over it.
Laxmipur-04 (Ramgatti-Kamalnagar) Member of Parliament Abdullah Al Mamun was the chief guest at the meeting held at 6 pm on Saturday, National Labor League leader Advocate Anwarul Haque, Freedom Fighter Commander Shafiq Uddin, Upazila General Secretary of Samyavadi Dal Nurul Amin were special guests. Upazila Awami League General Secretary Advotek Nurul Amin Raju, Chairman Nizam Uddin, Upazila Jubo League President Fazlul Haque Sabuj, Abul Bachet and 14 party leaders spoke. General Secretary of Upazila Jubo League Ahsan Ulyah Hiron presided over the meeting.
The speakers said that they called for protesting and collectively dealing with the murders, bombings and terrorist killings across the country.
