A preparatory meeting was held in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur to mark the occasion of the Great Victory Day. In the meeting, various arrangements were made, including hoisting new flags of appropriate size throughout the upazila on the day of the Great Victory Day.
The meeting was organized at the Upazila Parishad Spandan Room on Monday (November 14) afternoon.
The meeting, chaired by Kamalnagar Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mohammad Masudur Rahman Mollah, was addressed by Kamalnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akul Chandra Biswas, local MP representative Advocate Anwarul Haque, freedom fighter Commander Shafiq Uddin, Upazila Awami League President Nurul Amin Master, Principal Zayed Hossain Farooqui, Upazila Secondary Assistant Education Officer Md. Touhidul Islam, Primary Education Officer ATM Ehsanul Haque Chowdhury, UP Chairman Faisal Ahmed Ratan, Nizam Uddin, Haji Harunur Rashid, Awami League leader Rafiqul Islam Chowdhury, journalists Sajjadur Rahman and MA Majid, among others.
