A pervert husband cut and shaved his wife's hair in Kamalnagar

Lakshmipur): A serious allegation has been received that a housewife's hair was cut and shaved on the false accusation of extramarital affairs. (Such a heinous incident took place at the house of Prakash Bhandari Siddique, Siddique's father's house, in Char Kalkini Union under Kamalnagar Upazila of Lakshmipur late on Friday night, May 25.
It was found that about two years ago, Sharmin Akhter Nipur, daughter of Sirajul Islam Prakash Mia Majhi of Ward No. 7 of Under Char Union No. 20 of the neighboring Noakhali Sadar, got married to Manik, son of Mostafa Prakash Boba Mostafa of Kalkini village in Kamalnagar upazila.
Although they lived happily for a few days after their marriage, their marital strife continued. Husband Manik worked in Chatkhil, Noakhali, and many people living nearby said that he did not treat his wife well when he came home every few months.
The victimized housewife said that she got married against her parents' wishes, but she dreamed of building a happy nest with Manik. She accepted her in-laws as her parents and served them regularly. When her husband Manik went to work in Noakhali, he got involved with another girl. When I protested against it, he would create fights with me for no reason, and according to my husband, the rest of the family would also misbehave with me. The day before the haircut, Manik came on vacation and pressured me to bring one lakh taka from my father's house to go abroad. My parents said that they would not be able to pay, so he abused me and my parents in foul language. When I forbade him to abuse her, he got angry and beat me up and shaved her head with a razor, along with perverted torture. However, my brother-in-law and mother-in-law cooperated with my husband in this incident.
After cutting and shaving my hair, when my mother-in-law tried to burn the dream of beauty that had been slowly rolling around in my life, I was able to save it (some part of my hair) by holding my feet and begging for mercy. Now, holding my disheveled hair in my hands and looking at it, tears are my only resource. It is better not to live such a life than to live as a laughing stock in the eyes of the people of the society, and I hope that no other parent will have to see such a situation for any daughter like me, she cried hysterically.
The victim's father said, "They physically and mentally tortured my daughter. She is currently undergoing treatment. Preparations for the case are underway."
When she called her husband Manik to inquire about this, he confirmed that she had done this out of anger.
Kamalnagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Iqbal Hossain said that he has not received any complaint in this regard, and legal action will be taken if any complaint is received.
