Islamic rally in Kamalnagar

An Islamic rally against militancy, terrorism and sabotage was held at Kamalnagar in Laxmipur. (Today) on Saturday morning, this rally was held in the premises of Hajihat Hamidiya Fazil Degree Madrasa in the upazila by the joint initiative of Ulama, Mashaikh, Imam and Madrasa teachers. It was presided over by principal M. Zayed Hossain Farooqi and the chief guest was parliament member Abdullah Al Mamun. Among others, Superintendent of Police ASM Mahtab Uddin, General Secretary of District Awami League Advocate Noor Uddin Chowdhury Nayan, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Razzakul Haydan, Upazila Convener of 14 Party Militancy and Terrorism Prevention Committee Advocate Anwarul Haque, Freedom Fighter Shafiq Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Police Station Kabir Ahmad and others.
The speakers called upon the community to make people aware of terrorism and militancy in all mosques and madrasas.
