Khaleda did not defend herself, next hearing on December 15

Pally News Desk:

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia did not defend herself in the trial court in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case, stating that an application has been submitted to the High Court. Khaleda's lawyers appeared before the special court on Thursday morning and requested to postpone the hearing until the order of the application filed in the High Court is received. Later, Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar of the court set up at Alia Madrasa ground in Bakshibazar granted the application and set a new date for the defense on December 15.

Before Khaleda Zia appeared in court, her lawyers requested time to postpone the proceedings in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case.
