North Korea and the United States have repeatedly faced each other, raising tensions in the international arena. The two countries have also threatened to counterattack. Amidst all this, US President Donald Trump held a historic meeting with North Korea's supreme leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore in 2018.
Former White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was also present at that meeting. Kim Jong Un was fascinated by Sarah. In Sarah's new book, she has highlighted an incident from that time.
Trump, Kim and their top representatives were present at the 2018 summit. Sarah recalled the meeting in her book, saying, 'Kim took a Tic Tac Mint (chocolate) from Trump despite his reluctance to discuss the meeting. Trump then dramatically threw a chocolate in the air. Kim confirms it's a breath-clearing chocolate. not poison
Later, Kim-Trump talked about women's sports, including football. At that time, Sarah noticed that Kim was staring blankly at her. Sarah Sanders said.
"We've had eye contact. Kim shook her head. He gave me a hint.' Sarah said, I was shocked. Immediately I kept my eyes down and took notes of their discussion.
He said, I was wondering what happened to it. Surely Kim didn't do that to me?
Sarah said they were later in the presidential limousine. There was Trump, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly. He told them what happened with Kim. Sarah said, then Trump said, Kim wants you. He wants you alone. Sarah replied, please stop this sir.
'Okay Sarah. It's decided, you're going to North Korea. Will do anything for our team.' Trump said. Sarah mentioned in the book. Sarah said, Trump said, your husband and children will miss you. But you will become the hero of our country.
Trump and Callie were screaming and laughing at that, Sarah said.
