Amjad Hossain Amu, Kamalnagar: Village-Police Noor Islam (55) passed away in Kamalnagar of Laxmipur.
He breathed his last at his home on Monday (December 11) at 12.30 pm
It is known that he was in charge of Bangladesh Village Police for a long time. Joined village police in 1977. He performed the duties of the village police seriously while on duty. It is known that he was honest, optimistic, and fearless during his duties.
He was suffering from cancer for a long time. He is survived by five sons and three daughters, wife and numerous relatives.
His funeral was held at Char Lawrence Farash Ganj Faiz at Am Alim Madrasa ground at 10 am. He was in charge of Ward Number 02-03 of Hazir Hat Union Parishad Village Police.
Kamalnagar village-police president Md Ismail Hossain confirmed the matter and expressed grief over his death.
