Food and education will be important in the election manifesto of A.League

Increasing the quality of food and ensuring nutritionally rich food will be given priority in this year's election manifesto of Awami League. Along with that, the issue of raising education to standard and international standards will also be important in the manifesto.

The ruling party has started preparation of the election manifesto in addition to the field level preparations ahead of the upcoming 11th National Assembly elections. This year's election manifesto of Awami League will be prepared with the aim of ensuring sustainable development. This year's manifesto will be prepared in coordination with the issues that have been prioritized in the party manifesto.

The manifesto will highlight the Blue-Economy (ocean economy), information and communication technology (ICT) and energy sector development, educating the youth and engaging them more with the progress of development.

Besides, mega projects will also be prioritized in the manifesto to achieve sustainable development goals. For sustainable development, these issues will be mentioned in the manifesto as the government's priority work in the coming days.

Awami League's manifesto preparation work has already started by prioritizing these issues. To this end, the member of the presidium of the party. A committee has been convened by Abdur Razzak. Prime Minister's political adviser and co-chairman of the election management committee HT Imam, economic advisor Dr. Moshiur Rahman, former vice-chancellor of Dhaka University AMS Arefin Siddique, member of the advisory council of Awami League. Food security, i.e. ensuring that people are not hungry but have access to nutritious and quality food. Education has expanded a lot in the country. Our government is an education-friendly government. Education requires standardized and international quality education to build human beings. These issues will be highlighted in the manifesto. The manifesto will be prepared in the light of the issues contained in our party manifesto.

Meanwhile, several sources related to the creation of the manifesto said that the country has already achieved self-sufficiency in food in the last 10 years after the Awami League came to power. Now the urgent task is to ensure nutrition. Increase nutrient supply. The education rate in the country has increased and a large part of the population is educated youth. The manifesto will also provide guidance on how to harness and involve this youth in the development process. Along with this, increasing the quality of education and international quality education will be given importance.

After the victory of the sea border from Myanmar and India, Bangladesh has got the huge amount of sea water. There are huge resources in this sea area. This resource is called Blue-Economy (Ocean Economy). Harnessing this marine economy will be prioritized.

Sources also said that development of power and energy sector is essential for sustainable development. In the future, there will be an announcement in the manifesto regarding the development of this sector by giving more importance to this sector. After the Awami League came to power in the last 2008 elections, the government has been able to achieve the election promises and MDG targets in two terms. Now emphasis is being given on SDG (Sustainable Development). Bangladesh is already a lower middle income country and is on the verge of becoming a middle income country in 2021.

Similarly, sustainable development is being given importance to build a developed, prosperous Bangladesh by 2041. The direction of the government's steps to ensure the SDGs will be in the next election manifesto. Along with that, Delta Plan is being talked about how Bangladesh will be after next 100 years. These issues will be highlighted in the manifesto.
