Mohammad Lal Mia, father of Dainik Kal Kantha and Channel Nine's Laxmipur Correspondent Kajal Qais passed away (Innalillahi wa Inna-Ilahir Rajiun).
He breathed his last at his home in North Denayatpur area of Raipur Municipality early on Monday (October 15). He was under treatment in the hospital for a long time due to old age. He was 80 years old at the time of his death.
His funeral will be held at his home after Zohr prayers. Burial will follow in the family cemetery.
