New threat in Lakshmipur 'Huma Bahini'

Humayun Kabir has been accused of defaming the name of Jubo League in Mandari of Sadar Upazila in Laxmipur. Recently, Humayun has been making claims of drug trade, extortion, thunko, harassing the innocent people of the area and introducing the source of the police. No one dares to open their mouths because of fear.
Eyewitnesses said that recently at midnight in the village of Motbi, the drug-addicted gang gave their position by conducting a weapons exercise. A few rounds of blank shots were also fired. The local residents were suddenly frightened by such an incident. Last Thursday at midnight, Humayun went to the house of an expatriate's wife in Purba Bazaar area of Mandari with two associates after consuming yaba. At that time they shouted to open the gate. The woman did not report the incident to law enforcement and her husband's family for fear of breaking the happy family.
The victims of these incidents made this complaint to the journalists at the Lakshmipur Press Club on Saturday (September 15). Meanwhile, they have sought the intervention of the administration.
According to the complaint sources, Humayun has been demanding contribution from newly built structures and occupying the land of innocent people in Mandari Purba Bazar and Motbi village. Recently, the local Kibria master's land has been taken over. Unable to take possession, Humayun demanded tribute from him. He was jailed in the case filed by Kibria in this incident. After getting out of jail, he became more reckless. Maulana Abdus Saheed of the same area, while constructing a two-storied building, Humayun demanded donations. Now his people are mistreating the tenants due to non-payment. The tenant enters the flat and forcefully molests the housewife. Failing this, he was threatened with dishonour. Based on this incident, Humayun demanded a contribution of two lakh taka from Abdus Sahid through Ward No. 3 member (member) Ruhul Amin Munsi of Mandari Union.
Two members of Mandari Union Parishad, who did not wish to be named, said that Humayun has become reckless by breaking the party name. Recently, due to a trivial incident, he publicly slapped Atiqur Rahman, president of Mandari Bazar Merchants Association. They are trying to establish a reign of terror in Mandari Bazar and Motbi village by forming forces. A member of his forces threw a glass at Farooq Hossain, General Secretary of Kabir Mandari Bazar Traders Association, in the center of Qorbani cow market.
