Laxmipur: A child named Nabila (2) died after drowning in Kamalnagar, Laxmipur. On Thursday (September 13) morning, a child drowned in the pond of Asad Majhi's house in Char Jangalia village of Hajihat union of the upazila. Nabila is the daughter of Mochleh Uddin, a Saudi resident of that village. The relatives said that Nabila died by drowning in the water in the morning without everyone's knowledge. The family found the body floating in the water and recovered it. The local Hazirhat Union Parishad (UP) chairman confirmed the death.
