Press conference in Lakshmipur; Case filed for publishing nude photos of housewife and Chhatra League leader

A case has been filed in the court in Lakshmipur alleging that a Chhatra League leader and a housewife were systematically stripped naked by taking them hostage and making a video of them and sharing it on Facebook. The victims held a press conference demanding the speedy arrest and trial of those involved in the incident. The press conference was held at a newspaper office in the district town on Thursday (May 31) afternoon.
Earlier, a case was filed at the Lakshmipur Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal on Wednesday (May 30) afternoon. In it, 10 people, including Bhabaniganj Union Parishad village police officer Alauddin, were named as accused, and 10 other unidentified people were named as accused.
The press conference was told that village policeman Alauddin had been harassing the housewife for a long time. He had also been made immoral proposals at various times. Alauddin became furious when her husband informed local dignitaries about the matter. On May 26, around 8 pm, former general secretary of Kamalnagar Upazila Chhatra League Rakibul Hasan Biplob contacted the housewife's husband and went to his house in Charubhuti village of Bhabaniganj union of Sadar upazila for urgent work. At that time, Alauddin and his associates suddenly entered the housewife's house. They forcibly tore the clothes of Rakib and the housewife and made them half-naked. At one stage, they made the two sit side by side and took pictures and videos on their mobile phones. Later, they spread them on the social media Facebook. This has caused social and family humiliation. They demanded that those involved in the incident be arrested immediately and brought to justice.
Present at the time were Chhatra League leader Rakibul Hasan Biplob, a housewife and her husband.
