He also received 17 stitches on his head. Tasfia is admitted to Rajshahi Medical College (Ramek) Hospital after being seriously injured in such torture. In this incident, Tasfia's mother Hosne Ara Parveen filed a complaint at Rajpara Police Station as the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, Rifah Tasfia Salam got married to Shamiul Haque Sohag, son of Fazlul Haque of Dingadoba area of the city two years ago. After a few days of marriage, husband Sohag used to beat up Tasfia for dowry. One lakh 50 thousand taka was also given to Sohag thinking about her daughter's happiness. But even then the torture did not stop.
On Monday afternoon, Sohag, Sohag's mother Jahanara Begum Suji (50), brother Faisal (30), father Fazlul Haque (56) and Sajib (28) beat Tasfia with an iron pipe and seriously injured her. He was seriously injured.
Later, when the local people gave the news, Tasfia's uncle Mir Abu Said Shimul and other family members went to rescue her and admitted her to Ramek Hospital. From there, he was admitted to Was Stop Crisis Center (OCC) of Ramek Hospital on Tuesday.
Tasfia's uncle Fazle Rabbi said that his niece has a six-month-old daughter. If there was any incident of minor torture due to that child, they kept silent. The niece tried to convince the son-in-law. But this time they brutally tortured the niece. No sane person can ever torture like this.
