Mahidul as member in Ward No. 5 in UP elections in Nandigram, Bogra Islam Babu was elected. On June 15, polling was held in Burail Union at Nandigram in Bogra. In the said vote, in Ward No. 5, Abdul Quader Tala Chabi Marka 825, Mahidul Islam Babu Morag Marka 825, got equal votes. According to the government rules, the polls are supposed to be held within 29 days. Accordingly, on Wednesday, June 29, polling was held again between the two candidates in the morning, in which Abdul Quader Talamarka got 1 thousand 436 votes and Mahidul Islam Babu got 1 thousand 464 votes and was elected as a member. The local residents congratulated him for being elected as a member of Ward No. 5.
