Former US President Donald Trump has claimed several times that he has a 'good relationship' with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He is also confident of ending the war in Ukraine with this relationship if he wins the upcoming elections.
Now it is known that Trump really had a special relationship with Putin. The dispute between the two countries continued despite threats to each other.
Evidence of which has been found in the forthcoming book 'War' by former Trump aide Bob Woodward. Where it has been claimed, when America was suffering from the death toll of the corona virus. Even in that difficult time, Trump secretly sent a corona detection device to Putin.
In a report on Monday (October 9), the Indian media NDTV gave this news.
Citing Woodward's upcoming book 'War', the report said Trump secretly sent a new Covid-19 detection device to Putin during the coronavirus pandemic. Putin urged Trump to keep the shipment of the device a secret. Even after his term ended, Trump kept in touch with Putin.
Trump has had "probably seven phone calls" with Putin since leaving the White House, Woodward wrote.
Putin told Trump, 'Please don't tell anyone you sent them to me.'
In response, Trump said, 'I don't care about anybody.'
In response, Putin said, 'No, no. I don't allow anyone to say it because people will be mad at you, not me. They don't care about me.'
According to CNN and Washington Post, the book will be released on October 15.
Meanwhile, Trump's election campaign camp has denied what the book claims. Steven Cheung, director of public relations for the Republican candidate's election campaign, said, 'None of the stories made up by Bob Woodward are true'.
