The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the 15-member squad for the first 3 matches of the 5-match T20 series at home against Zimbabwe. Tanjid Hasan Tamim got a chance in T20 for the first time. Also, after 18 months, all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin was considered for the national team. As expected, Shakib Al Hasan and Mostafizur Rahman are not in the team for the first three matches.
BCB announced the squad through a press release on Sunday (April 28).
Bangladesh squad for first 3 matches: Nazmul Hossain Shanto (captain), Liton Das, Tanjid Hasan Tamim, Tawhid Hriday, Mahmudullah Riyad, Zaker Ali Anik, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Shariful Islam, Tanjim Hasan Shakib, Parvez Hossain Imon , Tanveer Islam, Afif Hossain Dhrub and Mohammad Saifuddin.
