Laylatul Qadr is celebrated on odd numbered nights between 21st and 29th of Ramadan. However, the night before the 27th of Ramadan i.e. the 26th day of Ramadan is considered as the night of Qadr.
Today is the holy night of Lailatul Qadr, in which all devout Muslims spend their time in worship. For this reason, many people want to know the rules of the night of Shaba al-Qadr, how to pray it, with which prayer to pray it and also about the virtues of this night. So let us know today about the rules, supplications and virtues of Shabae Qadr night prayer-
'Shabe Qadr' in Persian language and the name of this night in the language of Quran is 'Lailatul Qadr' meaning highly honored and glorious night or holy night. In Arabic, 'Lailatul' means night or dawn and the word 'Qadr' means honor, dignity or great honor. Apart from this, its other meaning is to determine fate, amount and destiny. As our destiny is determined through this night, we all Muslims should spend it in worship.
The rules of Shab Qadr prayer
The more Nafal Namaz of Shabbat Qadr is performed in two rakats, the greater the rewards. After reciting Surah Fatiha in each rakat of prayer, reciting Surah Ikhlas, Surah Qadr, Ayatul Qurchi or Surah Takashur etc. is an act of greater reward. It is better to pray at least 12 rakats in this way. The more rakats that can be performed, the better.
If one does not know the Surahs mentioned above, then after reciting Surah Fatiha, one should recite one Surah in each Rak'ah from the Surahs that one knows. Besides, you can pray Salatul Tawba, Salatul Hajat, Salatul Tasbih. Also try to read at least 8 Rakat Tahajjud in the last part of the night.
Intention of Shab Qadr prayer
If you know Arabic language then you will do Niyyat in Arabic while reading Shab Qadr Namaz and if you don't know Arabic language then you can Niyat in Bengali Shaba Qadr Namaz. So let us now know the intentions of Shabae Qadr Namaz in Bengali language and Arabic language-
The intention of the Shabae Qadr prayer in Arabic: “Nawaituan ushalliyyah lilla-hi ta’a-la- rak’atai chala-ti lailatul qadr-nafli, mutawajjihan ila-jihatil ka’batish sharifati Allah-hu akbar”. Bengali Niyyat of Shabe Qadr Namaz: "I intend to pray two rak'at Nafal Namaz of Shabe Qadr for the sake of Allah by facing the Kaaba - Allahu Akbar".
Holy Shabbat Qadr Prayer Surah
There is no Surah for the Shabae Qadr prayer. But after reciting Surah Fatiha in each rakat of prayer, reciting Surah Ikhlas, Surah Qadr, Ayatul Qurchi or Surah Takasur etc.
Shabba Kadar prayer
Hazrat Ayesha Radiyallahu Anha narrates, once I asked Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam - O Messenger of Allah! (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Tell me, if I know on which night Lailatul Qadr will happen, what (supplication) should I recite on it?
The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, You will say:
God bless you
Pronunciation: 'Allahumma innaka afuyyun; Tuhibbul Afwa; Fafu Annie.'
Meaning: O Allah! You are forgiving; love to forgive; So forgive me. (Musnad Ahmad, Ibn Majah, Tirmidhi, Mishkat)
In addition to this, he has mentioned many prayers for the servant in the Qur'an to obtain the forgiveness of Allah Ta'ala. Which he urged to read in all worships including prayer prostration, Tashahhud. And that's-
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ
Pronounced: 'Rabbigfir warham wa anta khairur rahimin.'
Meaning: 'O my Lord! Forgive (me) and have mercy (on me); You are the Most Merciful.' (Surat al-Muminun: verse 118)
رَبَّنَا امَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Pronunciation: 'Rabbana amanna fagfirlana warhamna wa anta khairur rahimin.'
Meaning: 'O our Lord! We have established trust. So forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best of the kind.' (Surah Mu'minun: Verse 109)
رَبِّ إِنِّيْ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ
Pronunciation: 'Rabbi inni jalamtu nafsi fagfirli.'
Meaning: '(O my) Lord! Surely I have wronged myself, so please forgive me.' (Surah Qasas: verse 16)
رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا امَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Pronunciation: 'Rabbana innana amanna fagfirlana junubana wa kina azaban nar.'
Meaning: O our Lord! Surely we have believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of Hell.' (Surah Al-Imran: Verse 16)
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِيْنَ
Pronounced: 'Rabbana jalamna angfusana wa illam tagfirlana wa tarhamna lanakunanna minal khasirin.'
Meaning: 'O our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will surely be among the losers.' (Surah Araf: Verse 23)
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ يَوْمَ يَقُوْمُ الْحِسَابُ
Pronounced: 'Rabbanagfirli wa liwalidayya wa lilmuminina yaoma yakumul khaka.'
Meaning: O our Lord! On the day of reckoning, forgive me, my parents and the believers.' (Surah Ibrahim: verse 41)
سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيْرُ
Pronunciation: 'Samina wa attana gufranaka rabbana wa ilaikal machir.'
Meaning: 'We have heard and accepted (your provision). O our Lord! forgive us It is to you that (we) must return.' (Surah Al-Baqarah: Verse 285)
رَبَّنَا وَلاَ تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَ طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَعاْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنتَ مَوْلَنَا
Pronunciation: 'Wafu anna wagfirlana warhamna anta mawlana fanchurna alal qawmil kafirin.'
Meaning: 'O our Lord! Do not burden us with burdens that we cannot bear. Forgive us our sins. Forgive us and have mercy on us. You are our Lord.' (Surah Baqarah: Verse 286)
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِيْنَ سَبَقُوْنَا بِالْإِيْمَانِ
Pronunciation: 'Rabbanagfirlana wali ikhwaninallajina sabakunna bil imani.'
Meaning: 'O our Lord! Forgive us and forgive those who died in faith before us.' (Surah Hashar: Verse 10)
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِيْ أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَومِ الْكَافِرِيْنَ
Pronounced: 'Rabbanagfirlana Junubana wa Israfana fi Amrina wa Chabit Akdamana Wangchurna Alal Qawmil Kafirin.'
Meaning: 'O our Lord! Forgive us our mistakes. Forgive us where you have transgressed in our work. Steady our steps and help us against the disbelievers.' (Surah Al-Imran: Verse 147)
