More gold prices in 24 hours

The price of gold has been reduced again in the country's market within 24 hours. With this, the price of gold has been reduced 6 times in a row this month. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price of a 22 carat gold bar by Tk 1,155 to Tk 1,11,461.

Bajus informed this information in a circular on Monday (April 29).

According to the notification, the price of acid gold (pure gold) has decreased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been fixed considering the overall situation. According to the new price, the price of 22 carat gold per bar (11.664 grams) will be 1 lakh 11 thousand 461 taka. Apart from this, the price of gold has been set at 1 lakh six thousand 399 taka per 21 carat, 91 thousand 201 taka per 18 carat and 75 thousand 839 taka per traditional method.

Earlier last Sunday (April 28), the price of 22 carat gold was reduced by Tk 315 to Tk 1 lakh 12 thousand 616. Apart from this, the price of 21 carat was fixed at 1 lakh seven thousand 495 taka, 18 carat was 92 thousand 146 taka and traditional method was 76 thousand 632 taka.

Bajus adjusted the price of gold 9 times in the last 12 days. Out of which the price has been reduced 7 times and increased 2 times. The price of gold has decreased in the last 6 points.

Incidentally, the price of gold has been adjusted 16 times in the country's market in the first 4 months of this year. Where the price has been increased seven times, and reduced 9 times. And in 2023, the price was adjusted 29 times.
