Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that BNP leaders wearing black glasses cannot see the development of the country. BNP should be ashamed of Pakistan Prime Minister's statement about Bangladesh. He said this after paying tribute at Banani cemetery on the occasion of martyr Sheikh Jamal's 71st birthday today.
Obaidul Quader said, I think BNP does not study. Quoting Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's comment, 'I am now ashamed to see the development of Bangladesh', he said, Pakistan can see the development of Bangladesh today. But BNP leaders do not see the development of the country.
Commenting on BNP's friendship with Pakistan, the general secretary of Awami League said that Pakistan once thought it was a burden, now it is ashamed. Rizvi should be ashamed of Pakistan Prime Minister's statement. They do not see the development of Bangladesh. BNP does not see what Shehbaz Sharif in black glasses sees. Ask them why they don't see it.
In response to the question that the Jatiya Party was brought to the election by threats, Obaidul Quader said, who threatened whom? They were born at the barrel of a gun. They did not come through democracy. 42 percent people of Bangladesh voted in the last election. There were no murders on election day. We didn't feel any pressure here. He (GM Kader) has to make it clear that for what reason, under whose pressure, he came to the election.
He said, the killing of August 15, 1975 was to wipe out Bangabandhu's family. Zia-Mushtak gang helped the murderers. Through this, the politics of murder and conspiracy started in the country. Sheikh Hasina returned to the country and started the trend of development and progress by stopping the politics of assassination and conspiracy. With the continuation of the current government, the development trend continues in the country in a stable situation.
On behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader first paid homage to the grave of martyr Sheikh Jamal at the cemetery. Later he paid tribute to the central leaders on behalf of the party.
At this time, Awami League presidium member Dr. Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Joint General Secretary Mahbub Ul Alam Hanif, Dr. Dipu Moni and AFM Baha Uddin Nashim, Organizing Secretary Ahmed Hossain, BM Mozammel Haque, Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan, Afzal Hossain and Sujit Roy Nandi, Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golap, Deputy Secretary Sayem Khan were present.
