Agriculture Minister and Awami League Presidium Member Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak has left for Rome, Italy, to attend the World Food Forum of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
He left Dhaka for Rome on Saturday.
The conference will be held from October 17 to 21 under the theme 'Healthy Food, Healthy Planet'. The Agriculture Minister will participate in the 'Investment Summit' there (in Rome). The Food and Agriculture Organization is working to increase investment in the transformation of the agricultural sector. For this reason, FAO has organized the 'Investment Summit' from October 18 to 19.
The Agriculture Minister is scheduled to return to the country on October 22.
