Barna Prokashoni closed down by authorities

Following recent protests, and in response to growing public anger against the owner of Barna Prokashoni, Md Nazmul Hussain, the authorities arrested Hussain again. Yesterday, Law enforcement confirmed that they closed down Barna Prokashoni in Purana Paltan, Dhaka, until all investigations into the publication of some controversial books such as “Awami League Election Fraud – by Samad Ali”, “Amar Qari Saab – by Nasir Ahmed Lavlu”, “Plague – by Shofique Miah”, “Religion of Man or God – by Sajad Ali”, and few other controversial books, are concluded by the Authorities.
