She is the daughter of Helal Uddin Munsi and Amena Begum of Munsi Bari in Gachirhat area of Charpata Union adjacent to Boarder Bazar in Raipur-Faridganj Upazila. According to the written complaint, Smriti Balika is a talented student of the school. But the SSC exam is ahead, on the other hand, Smriti refuses to get married because she is a minor, but the parents are trying to get her married before the exam. The people of Elka sought the help of school authorities and administration through journalists to save themselves from child marriage.
In this regard, guardians Helal Uddin Munshi and Amena Begum said that the girl has become suitable. A girl's marriage is arranged by getting a good son. I don't see any problem here. The local Kazi refused to give any statement.
In this regard, upazila executive officer Shilpi Rani Roy said that under 18 years of age and SSC candidates cannot be married. Strict action will be taken through the local UP chairman in this regard.
