The first picnic of the Facebook-based BB group took place on Saturday, September 5th at Nature Center Cowansville, Quebec. This Facebook group was opened during the Corona period lockdown. The lockdown period has played a huge role in keeping everyone mentally healthy with online chats and funny posts - this came up in the chats of hundreds of members of Picnic. Along with breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack, there were sports for everyone. Live music added to the raffle draw kept everyone entertained. Apart from the virtual chat, the live chat of the day is also quite crowded. Everyone wished that this chat should remain unbroken in the life of Bengalis. The concerned organizers said that there is a plan to organize events on a larger scale in the future by overcoming the fear of Corona.
