Chhatra League attack on scout camp in Lakshmipur Govt College, 3 injured

Lakshmipur: Three members of rover scout including senior rovermate were injured in the attack of Chhatra League on scout camp in Lakshmipur government college.

On Saturday (December 24) in the afternoon, Lakshmipur Government College grounds, Lakshmipur Government College grounds, the college Chhatra League workers attacked the scout camp with outsiders.

The injured are senior rovermate Hasan Mahmud Sakil, a third-year student of political science honors class of Lakshmipur Government College, Himel, a student scout member of the same department, Sahel Hossain Shahin, a first-year degree student. Shaheen was seriously injured and admitted to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital. Others were given first aid.

Scout members and college students said that during the camp in the college grounds, class 11 students and Chhatra League workers came to Bandhan and Pias camp and molested the girl scout members. At that time, when the members of the rover blocked the Chhatra League workers Bandhan and Pias left. Later they ambushed the scout camp with 15/20 external BCL workers.

Laxmipur Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mamun said, the police went to the spot after receiving the information. Legal action will be taken if a written complaint is received in this regard.

Incidentally, Rover Scout Camp was organized at Lakshmipur Government College Grounds with the participation of 62 students from 10 colleges of the district from last December 20.
