Independent Ibtedayi Madrasa Teachers Assembly in Lakshmipur

Lakshmipur: A gathering of independent Ebtedayi Madrasa teachers was held in Lakshmipur. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was congratulated for signing the full policy of the madrasa. On Thursday (October 4) morning, the event was organized at the Sadar Upazila Paschim Charmansa Khwaja Independent Ebtedayi Madrasa by the District Independent Ebtedayi Madrasa Teachers Association. Sadar Upazila Committee President Md. Abdur Rab presided over the event, while District Committee President Md. Abdur Rahim was the chief guest. District Committee General Secretary Mohammad Saif Ullah Helal was the special guest. Teacher leaders Makshudur Rahman, Abdul Motaleb, Md. Fakhruddin, Mominul Haque, Lokman Hossain, Gias Uddin, Delwar Hossain, Abul Kalam, Anwar Hossain, Rakibal Hasan and Suraiya Begum spoke at the event. The speakers said that the Awami League government is education-friendly. This government is providing allowances to teachers of 1,519 out of 18,000 Ebtedayi Madrasas in the country. Hopefully, the remaining teachers will also come under the government allowance according to this policy. The speakers congratulated the Prime Minister, Education Minister, State Minister for Education and Education Secretary for signing the complete policy on establishment of independent Ebtedayi Madrasas, permission to teach, academic recognition, management of Madrasas, grants and salary allowances.
