Lakshmipur Commerce College students have protested against the non-appearance of the principal and various irregularities for the past 2 years.
On Monday afternoon, they held a protest march in the college campus area of Dewan Bari road in the city. There is tension in the campus and surrounding areas.
The students said that our principal GM Zakaria has not been coming to the college for 2 years. In this situation, there has been stagnation in various activities of the college. Various activities of the college are immersed in various irregularities. KAs and examination programs are not going on properly. Students even complain about not getting various government, winter and summer vacations. Meanwhile, the English teacher has changed 8 times in 1 year. In this, students are deprived of good education.
On the other hand, students are admitted with the promise that there is a diving club, computer lab, but it is not seen in the college. Even the students said that the freshman was not admitted.
However, none of the college authorities agreed to open their mouths.
Lakshmipur District Commissioner Md. Zillur Rahman Chowdhury said necessary measures will be taken after talking to the college authorities.
