UP Chairman arrested with Yabas in Lakshmipur: 6 months imprisonment in mobile court

RAB arrested UP chairman Musharraf Hossain Mushu Patwari along with Yabas in anti-narcotics operation in Laxmipur. He is the chairman of Laharkandi Union Parishad number 15 of Sadar Upazila and the president of that union BNP.

He was arrested from his private office at Jocksin Bazar in Sadar on Sunday (May 13) around 10:30 pm. Later, he was sentenced to 6 months without labor in the traveling court.

According to RAB, during the operation, the Executive Magistrate of the Deputy Commissioner's Office. Khabirul Ahsan runs the traveling court. Additional Superintendent of Police Naresh Chakma of RAB-11 Lakshmipur camp was present at the time.

In this regard, the executive magistrate and mobile court judge. Khabirul Ahsan said that the UP Chairman was arrested along with 5 pieces of Yabas in a raid based on secret information. He admitted to consuming Yaba for one and a half years.

He was sentenced to 6 months in prison after pleading guilty in a traveling court. He was sent to the district jail. He also said that the campaign against drugs will continue.
