No one involved in drugs will be spared: Prime Minister

Regarding the allegations of the use of weapons by law enforcement agencies in the campaign against drugs, the Prime Minister said, "Drugs are like a disease in society. Our law enforcement agencies have worked for a long time to find those involved in it. You (journalists) yourself have also written against drugs, now that we have started the campaign, it is being talked about again. Why is this? And who is the godfather, don, who is whose brother-relative, I have never seen these, I will never see them. No one will be spared."

The Prime Minister attended a press conference at her official residence, Ganabhaban, on Wednesday afternoon, ahead of her scheduled visit to India. After finishing her written statement, journalists were given the opportunity to ask questions. The Prime Minister made the remarks in response to a question at the press conference.

The Prime Minister also said, "I have no desire for any award. I want the people of my country to eat two handfuls of food a day. I also do not have the financial capacity to hire lobbyists for any award. Rather, if I have money, I would like to distribute it among the poor."

It is worth noting that the Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University in West Bengal, India, honored the Prime Minister with a D.Litt degree during this visit.
