Staff Reporter: Terrorists abducted a businessman named Yunus Ali after exploding a bomb in Sonapur village of Sadar Upazila of Meherpur district.
He was abducted from his home on Friday (July 1) evening. He is the son of the village owner.
Locals said Yunus Ali was staying at home after Maghrib prayers. At that time some terrorists suddenly came and exploded a bomb in front of his house causing panic. Later businessman Yunus Ali was abducted from that house.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Meherpur Sadar Police Station Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury said that the police have been sent to the spot. The reason for the abduction can be said after the investigation. Action will be taken against the kidnappers.
