The people of the country are deprived of the right to vote, said the president of the public forum and the convener of the national unity process. He said these things in his opening speech at the national assembly organized by the national unity process which started at Dhaka Metropolitan Theater (Kazi Bashir Auditorium) at 3 pm on Saturday.
Dr. Kamal said, 'The basis of national unity is the establishment of effective democracy. Therefore, through this unity, it is possible to restore the freedom of expression of the people by ensuring the financial order of the state. I hope the national leaders sitting on the stage will give their valuable speeches by motivating the people with the aim of creating greater national unity and mass awakening.'
Chairman of United Front AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury was the chief guest in this gathering under the chairmanship of Kamal and member secretary of Nagrik Oikya ABM Mustafa Amin.

The auditorium was full of clapping with various slogans like 'One demand, one goal, national unity for the sake of the country', 'Young and old brothers, we want unity to save the country', 'The spirit of the one-year-old, national unity one more time', 'The desire of the nineties, national unity one more time'.
Leaders and activists are coming to this gathering with small processions. Soon after 2 o'clock, the entire auditorium was filled with the presence of hundreds of thousands of leaders and activists. Microphones are spread throughout the premises so that people outside the auditorium can hear the speech.
