Jatiya Oikya Front has received permission to hold a public meeting in front of BNP's metropolitan office in Kazirdeuri, Chittagong next Sunday.
Chittagong Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Mahabubur Rahman told the media that conditionally, Jatiya Oikya Front has been allowed to use one side of the road adjacent to BNP office Nasimon Bhavan to hold a public meeting. They have to finish the rally by 5 pm.
Earlier, Jatiya Oikya Front applied to the police for permission to hold a rally at Laldighi Maidan in Chittagong.
However, on Friday, the Metropolitan Police did not allow Oikya Front to use the Laldighi Maidan in front of the BNP office.
Before this, the Jatiya Oikya Front held a rally in Sylhet on Wednesday.
