On the occasion of Autumn Durgotsav, former BNP MP Ashraf Uddin Nijan personally donated eighty five thousand taka to 14 puja mandaps of Ramgati and Kamalnagar upazilas of Laxmipur.
On Saturday night, donations of 10,000 taka to 30,000 taka were given in three of Kamalnagar upazila and 55,000 taka of 5,000 taka to 11 puja mandas of Ramgati upazila.
BNP leaders donated on behalf of the former MP. Kamalnagar Upazila BNP General Secretary Nurul Huda Chowdhury, Hazirhat Union BNP President Md. Farhad Hossain Mia, General Secretary of Falcon Union BNP. Ibrahim, Jubo Dal leader Sahab Uddin Roni, Mohammad Dolon and student leaders Belayet Hossain, Amjad Hossain and the leaders and activists of various organizations.
Ramgati Upazila BNP Vice President Khorshed Alam, General Secretary Jamal Uddin, Organizational Secretary Md. Abdur Rob, municipal BNP president and former mayor of Ramgati municipal council Shahed Ali Patu, vice president Aparup Das.
General Secretary of Kamalnagar Upazila BNP Nurul Huda Chowdhury said that like last year, former MP Ashraf Uddin Nijan has given financial donations to 14 puja mandaps of Ramgati and Kamalnagar upazilas.
