Madrasa student dies due to electrocution in Kamalnagar

A madrasa student named Muhammad Miraj Hossain (16) died after being electrocuted in Lakshmipur's Kamalnagar. The accident took place on Wednesday (May 23) at noon in ward number five of Charlorens Union of the upazila.

Locals said that Haji Muqbul Ahmed of that area was ironing Miraj Punjabi in the muezzin's room of Jame Masjid. At that time, Miraj came into contact with the electric wire. He died on the spot.
