The 45th Victory Day was celebrated with due dignity at Kamalnagar in Lakshmipur. (Friday) The day begins with 31 gunfire at 12.01 midnight. After that, various social and cultural institutions including Upazila Administration, Upazila Parishad, Police Administration, Freedom Fighters Sangsad, Awami League, BNP, Jasad, Basad, Jatiyapati, Kamalnagar Press Club laid wreaths at Shaheed Minar.
At 9 o'clock in the morning, the large and colorful victory rally entered the parade ground organized by the upazila administration after completing the upazila road circuit. Laxmipur-4 (Kamalnagar-Ramgatti) Member of Parliament Abdullah Al Mamun MP visited the parade ground immediately after hoisting the national flag.
Later the reception of the freedom fighters was held. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Masudur Rahman Molla presided over the meeting. Special guests were Freedom Fighters Commander Safiq Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Kamalnagar Police Station Akul Chandra Biswas.
