National Fisheries Week inaugurated in Kamalnagar

National Fisheries Week 2016 has started with the slogan "Where there is water - there is fish farming". (Today) at 11 am on Wednesday at Kamalnagar Upazila Complex in Lakshmipur, it was inaugurated by Upazila Chairman of Kamalnagar Upazila Advocate Shamchul Alam. Later, a rally decorated with banners, pestoons and various roads of the upazila meet at the end of the meeting. Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Ibrahim Hamid Shahin presided over the meeting. Upazila Vice Chairman Humayun Kabir, Upazila Secondary Teacher Officer Ahsan Ulyah Majumdar, Upazila Small Fishermen Association President Amir Hossain, Youth Development Officer Monir Hossain, MA Majid and other fishermen association leaders spoke at the press club.
