Asia Cup Schedule

The Asia Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will go up on Saturday. Bangladesh will face Sri Lanka in the opening match. Six countries will be divided into two groups this year.

Keeping in mind the T20 World Cup in 2016, the Asia Sera tournament was held in the T20 format. The host was Bangladesh. This season, the highest of Asian cricket, is returning to the ODI format. This tournament will see all the great battles of bat-ball. The names of India and Pakistan are at the top of the list of favourites. However, as Bangladesh has improved in cricket in the last few years, many people say that the Tigers are also deserving of the title.

The six teams of this year's tournament, which will be held after two years, have been divided into two groups. India and Pakistan are in the same group. Hong Kong is in 'A' group with two arch-rivals. On the other hand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan are in Group 'B'.

The matches will be held in UAE's two centers Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Four teams from each of the two groups will advance to the Super Four, two teams will be eliminated. Four teams will play each other in Super Four.
