On the initiative of Nandigram Upazila Vice Chairman Dulal Chandra Mahanta, a one-day free eye camp was organized by Grameen GC Eye Hospital in Nandigram, Bogra. The eye camp was held on Tuesday (May 31) at the Burail Government Primary School premises of the upazila. About three hundred local people's eyes were examined.
Bogra District Jubo League President Subhashish Poddar Liton inaugurated this eye camp in the morning. District Jubo League General Secretary Aminul Islam Dablo, Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman and Upazila Jubo League President Dulal Chandra Mahant and District Jubo League Cultural Affairs Secretary Enamul Haque Monir were present as special guests.
At this time Nandigram Upazila Jubo League Vice President Abdus Salam, M.R. Zaman Russell, Joint General Secretary Zillur Rahman Royal, Organizing Secretary Aktar Hossain Sumon, Burail Union Jubo League President Liton Kumar Chauhan and other upazila union level party leaders were present.
Organized by Vice Chairman of Upazila Parishad and President of Upazila Jubo League Dulal Chandra Mahanta and managed by Grameen GC Eye Hospital, free medical certificates were distributed to all the patients who participated in this eye camp. Besides, cataract patients are selected for surgery.
