Awami League's president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's son Sajib Wazed Joy and her advisor on information technology have joined the Awami League's 'National Election Management Committee' for the upcoming 11th National Assembly elections.
Through this, he officially joined the electoral process of Awami League.
Sources of the meeting said that Joy was given this responsibility in the joint meeting of Awami League Central Executive Council, Advisory Council and Awami League's Parliamentary Party (Parliamentary Party) on Friday (October 26) evening at Ganabhaban.
Joy has been placed as a member of Awami League's National Election Management Committee (Core Committee) for the 11th National Assembly Elections. Although he has been working alongside the Awami League and the government for a long time, this is the first time he has officially joined the party forum.
According to sources, party president Sheikh Hasina is the chairman of the 33-member core committee (core committee) of Awami League. Co-chairman of the committee is Awami League advisory council member HT Imam and member secretary is Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader.

Farooq Khan, Member of Parliament Sheikh Helal Uddin, Treasurer HN Ashiqur Rahman, Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul Alam Hanif, Dr. Dipumani, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Abdur Rahman, Jatiya Sangsad Whip and Awami League Parliamentary Party General Secretary Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury Liton, Organizational Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel, Publicity Secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Sheikh Hasina's cousin Sheikh Salah Uddin Jewel, office secretary Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golap, Member of Executive Parliament Akhtaruzzaman, Dipankar Talukder, Advocate ABM Riazul Kabir Kawchar and Deputy Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.
