Awami League's president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's son Sajib Wazed Joy and her advisor on information technology have joined the Awami League's 'National Election Management Committee' for the upcoming 11th National Assembly elections.
Through this, he officially joined the electoral process of Awami League.
Sources of the meeting said that Joy was given this responsibility in the joint meeting of Awami League Central Executive Council, Advisory Council and Awami League's Parliamentary Party (Parliamentary Party) on Friday (October 26) evening at Ganabhaban.
Joy has been placed as a member of Awami League's National Election Management Committee (Core Committee) for the 11th National Assembly Elections. Although he has been working alongside the Awami League and the government for a long time, this is the first time he has officially joined the party forum.
According to sources, party president Sheikh Hasina is the chairman of the 33-member core committee (core committee) of Awami League. Co-chairman of the committee is Awami League advisory council member HT Imam and member secretary is Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader.
Other members of the main committee include Awami League presidium member Sajeda Chowdhury, advisory council member Amir Hossain Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Dr. Moshiur Rahman, Rashidul Alam, Presidium member Matia Chowdhury, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Salim, Kazi Zafar Ullah, Mohammad Nasim, Syed Ashraful Islam, Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, Dr. Abdur Razzaq, Colonel (retd.)
