The hearing of Khaleda Zia's two cases has been postponed again

The court adjourned the hearing on two defamation cases against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on January 26. Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor fixed this day on Tuesday in view of the time request.

It was the day Khaleda Zia was produced in court in the case of false birthday celebration and supporting war criminals. But lawyer Masud Ahmed Talukder prayed for time on behalf of the former prime minister as he was under treatment. After granting time, the court fixed this day.
Former Joint General Secretary of Dhaka Journalist Union Gazi Zahirul Islam filed the case against Khaleda Zia on August 30, 2016 for celebrating her fake birthday.

Apart from this, a defamation case was filed against Khaleda Zia for defaming the country's map and national flag by hoisting the national flag on the car of the identified anti-independence activists. Jannetri Parishad President AB Siddiqui filed the case on November 3, 2016.
