Upazila Awami League held a protest march and rally at Nandigram in Bogra as part of the centrally announced program to protest against the threat to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Apart from this, separate protest marches were taken out on the initiative of Upazila Volunteer League and Upazila Jatiya Sramik League.
On Saturday afternoon, the upazila Awami League's protest procession circled the various roads of the city. Later, Awami League leaders Rafiqul Islam, Shafiul Alam Pic, Mohsin Ali, Swapan Chandra, Mukul Hossain, Sarful Haque Ujjal, Anand Kumar, Mamunur Rashid, Farooq addressed the protest rally under the chairmanship of Upazila Awami League President Anwar Hossain Rana LLB and moderated by General Secretary Anichur Rahman. Kamal, Municipal Awami League President Muktar Hossain Bakul, General Secretary Shahirul Islam, Awami League Leaders Shamim Sheikh, Morshedul Bari, Zulfikar Ali, Kalipad Pramanik, Mokhleshur Rahman, Abdur Razzak, Upazila Jubo League President Dulal Chandra Mahant, Upazila Krishak League President Shafiqul Islam, General Secretary Syed Raihan Manik, Volunteer League President Abu Saeed, General Secretary Kamrul Hasan Sabuj, Sramik League President Enamul Haque, General Secretary Arafat Raj, Chhatra League General Secretary Shubo Ahmed, Joint General Secretary Abu Tauhid Rajeev etc.
