Nadia Akhter (16), daughter of Imam Uddin of Rampur Union in Companiganj Upazila of Noakhali, is suffering from a rare disease. She is bleeding profusely from her eyes, nose and ears. Nadia is currently undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College for this disease. She is a class 10 student of Bamni Achiria Senior Fazil Madrasa.
It is known that in November 2017, she started bleeding continuously from her mouth and from February 2018, from her eyes, nose and ears. A few days ago, she came to the Companiganj Upazila Health Complex to see a doctor. When the doctor on duty referred her to Dhaka for treatment, her father, Imam Uddin Companiganj Upazila Parishad Chairman Mizanur Rahman Badal, admitted her to Dhaka Medical College with the help of him. Currently, the girl, who is in financial difficulty, is undergoing treatment under Dr. Mukti Rani Mandal, an ENT specialist at Dhaka Medical College (in bed number 306 for women).
